1. Who we are
TestSlot provides a platform connecting app developers with testers for Google Play closed testing. This policy explains what we collect and why.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, and authentication details (via Google or email/password).
- Installed-app checks: for tests you opt into, our Android app checks whether those specific apps are installed, and reports that result to verify participation.
- Testing activity: opt-ins, streak progress, and rewards earned.
- Payment data: processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card details.
- Device tokens: a push notification token so we can alert you about your tests.
3. How we use it
To operate the marketplace, verify testing, process payments and payouts, send transactional notifications (email and push), prevent fraud, and improve the service.
4. The QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission
The Android tester app requests broad package-visibility solely to check whether the apps you opted into remain installed. We do not build or sell a profile of all your installed apps; checks are limited to verifying your active tests.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the platform (e.g. Google Firebase for auth/database, Stripe for payments, our email provider). We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention & your rights
We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal and financial records. You may request access to or deletion of your data through the support channel; some records may be retained where law requires.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, access-controlled databases, server-only secrets). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
